Fes - Marrakech - Desert Tour (From 869 $ )
Program Sequence
Tomorrow we start from Fes and drive towards the south of Morocco. We stop in Ifrane, also known as Moroccan Switzerland, here we enjoy the beauty of the landscape and can take pictures. In Azrou we will observe the monkeys in the cedar forest and we will have lunch in Midelt. In the afternoon we pass the Tizi n Talghammt pass and reach Errachidia, while driving we have a wide view of the Ziz valley. Our journey continues through Aoufous and Erfoud, known for their fossils and dates. If you wish, you can visit a local fossil handicraft shop. Then we reach the dunes of Erg Chebbi, also called Merzouga dunes. After reaching the hotel, we get ready for camel trekking. We ride the camels into the desert for about 1.5 hours to watch the sunset.
You will be woken up very early to experience the sunrise in the desert. After these wonderful moments, you will have breakfast and ride the camels back to the hotel, where you can take a shower. We start towards Tineghir, pass Erfoud and Tinejdad. We take a break to have lunch. In the afternoon we drive through Tineghir to Todra Gorge. There are many stops along the tour to take photos and enjoy the beautiful views. Then we do a little hike in Todra Gorge. Later we reach Boumalne and have a short stop in the Dades Valley. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel we drive to Quartzazate via Skoura, make a short photo stop overlooking the Kasbah of Taourirt and another stop near the Atlas Film Studios. Afterwards we will visit Kasbah Ait Benhaddou and take a break to have lunch here. In the afternoon we drive towards Marrakech over the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’ Tichka Pass (2260 m). Our tour ends in Marrakech.
